''Actual Life 3 (January 1 – September 9, 2022)'' is the third studio album from British producer Fred Gibson under the stage name Fred Again. It was released on October 28, 2022, through Atlantic Records. Similar to the previous two releases in the ''Actual Life'' series, ''Actual Life 3'' incorporates samples and audio clips from existing material, such as Instagram videos. At the Grammy Awards 2024, it won Best Dance/Electronic Album and was shortlisted for the 2023 Mercury Prize. Critical reception ''Actual Life 3'' was released to positive reviews. The album featured at 19th in Double Js 50 best albums of the year. It also featured on ''Billboard''s top 50 list, garnering 41st. It was nominated for Album of the Year at the 2023 Brit Awards. Kyle Tran Myhre (born January 23, 1983), better known by his stage name Guante, is an American hip hop recording artist, national slam poet champion (2008-2009), activist and educator based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Berwyn Du Bois, known mononymously as Berwyn, (styled in all caps) is a Trinidadian rapper, producer and songwriter, who is now based in East London. Early life Berwyn Du Bois was born in Diego Martin, Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago and moved to Romford, East London at the age of nine. His father was a bus driver and his mother a youth worker. Triple J
Triple J is an Australian government-funded national radio station founded in 1975 as a division of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC). It aims to appeal to young listeners of alternative music, and plays far more Australian content than commercial networks. The station was set up under the Gough Whitlam government, wanting to extend the appeal of the ABC to young Australians. The 2022 Triple J Hottest 100 was announced on 28 January 2023. It was the 30th annual countdown of the most popular songs of the year, as voted for by listeners of Australian radio station triple j. The day before, the Hottest 200 played, counting down songs 200–101. Merchandise sales from the event supported the Australian Conservation Foundation. Australian musician Flume's song " Say Nothing" featuring May-a was voted into first place. Australian band Spacey Jane had the most entries, with six, including three in the top 10. Over 2.4 million votes were submitted, and 57 entries in the countdown originated from Australian artists. Brit Awards 2023, the 43rd edition of the ceremony, presented by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI), was held on 11 February 2023 to recognise the best in British and international music. The ceremony took place at The O2 Arena in London and was hosted by British comedian Mo Gilligan, who returns after hosting the 2022 edition.
