Action Group Of Independent Germans
Action Group of Independent Germans (, or AUD) was the name of a nationalist- neutralist party in the Federal Republic of Germany. It was founded in May 1965 as a successor of various anti-Nazi nationalist groups and parties in West Germany. By the end of the 1960s, it approached the political demands of the extra-parliamentary opposition (APO), particularly its environmentalism, claiming the title of Germany's first environmentalist party. On 27 April 1980 it would eventually merge into the then-new and still very diverse Greens for which the AUD's long-time leader, August Haußleiter, would end up serving on the federal board. August Haußleiter
August Haußleiter (5 January 1905 – 8 July 1989) was a German politician and journalist. After his exclusion from the Bavarian Christian Social Union in 1949 he spent three decades as a right-wing political activist, on many occasions positioned beyond the frontiers of West Germany's consensual political mainstream. During the 1980s he remained politically active, but now as a somewhat unconventional member of the German Green party. He is also the mentor of the Finnish Greens. He is sometimes identified by the pseudonym under which he occasionally wrote, as Karl Konstantin. Life Before 1945 Relatively little is known for certain about Haußleiter's life before 1945. Pacifism is the opposition to war or violence. Alternative For Germany
Alternative for Germany (, AfD, ) is a Far-right politics in Germany (1945–present), far-right,Far-right: * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Right-wing populism, right-wing populist and National conservatism, national-conservative political party in Germany. The Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution (BfV), Germany's domestic intelligence agency, had classified the party as a "confirmed right-wing extremist endeavour". This classification was temporarily suspended by the BfV a week after its announcement in May 2025. The report that led to the classification was later leaked to the public. The federal branch of the AfD has been under surveillance since a court ruling in 2022 after it was classified by the domestic intelligence as a "suspected extremist party" in 2021. Bernd Grimmer
Bernd Grimmer (30 March 1950 – 18 December 2021) was a German politician. A member of Alternative for Germany, he served in the Landtag of Baden-Württemberg from 2016 to 2021. Grimmer was a critic of COVID-19 vaccination mandates. He died from COVID-19 aged 71 on 18 December 2021, amid the COVID-19 pandemic in Germany.
