Across The Bay Conference
The Across the Bay Conference is a high school football Athletic conference, conference consisting of small high schools in northeastern Wisconsin. It was founded in 2022 and is affiliated with the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association. History The Across the Bay Conference was formed in 2022 as part of the biannual realignment of Wisconsin's high school football conferences by the WIAA in conjunction with the Wisconsin Football Coaches Association. All eight original members (Algoma High School, Algoma, Gibraltar Secondary School, Gibraltar, Gillett High School (Wisconsin), Gillett, Lena High School, Lena/St. Thomas Aquinas Academy (Marinette, Wisconsin), St. Thomas Aquinas, Northeastern Wisconsin Conference, NEW Lutheran/Oneida Nation School System, Oneida Nation/Providence Academy (Howard, Wisconsin), Providence Academy, Sevastopol High School, Sevastopol, Suring High School, Suring and Wausaukee High School, Wausaukee) were previously part of the Marinette & Oconto-No ... High School Football
High school football, also known as prep football, is gridiron football played by High school (North America), high school teams in the United States and Canada. It ranks among the most popular high school sports, interscholastic sports in both countries. It is the level of tackle football that is played before college football. Rules The National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) establishes the rules of high school American football in the United States. In Canada, high school is governed by Football Canada and most schools use Canadian football rules adapted for the high school game except in British Columbia, which uses the NFHS rules. Since the 2019 high school season, Texas is the only state that does not base its football rules on NFHS rules, instead using National Collegiate Athletic Association, NCAA rules with certain exceptions shown below.
