Aby (film)
''Aby'' is a 2017 Indian Malayalam-language drama film directed by advertisement filmmaker Srikant Murali in his feature directorial debut. It is written by Santhosh Echikkanam and produced by Suvin K Varkey under the banner of Little Big Films. Vineeth Sreenivasan plays the lead and titular character of Aby and Aju Varghese and Suraj Venjaramoodu play supporting characters. Aby dreams of flying and making an airplane on his own without any formal engineering education. The movie depicts how the hero struggles to make his dream come true, the obstacles he faces on his way to success, and how he achieves glory. This film is based on Saji Thomas in a village in Kerala who can neither hear nor speak but designed and created a lightweight aircraft. Srikant Murali (also spelt Srikanth Murali) is an Indian actor, director and ad filmmaker. He has acted in Malayalam films such as Home (2021 film), ''Home'' (2021), Aby (film), ''Aby'' (2017), Virus (2019 film), ''Virus'' (2019) and ''Action Hero Biju'' (2016). Gundlupet (''Gundlupētē'' in Kannada) is a municipal town situated in the Chamarajanagar district of Karnataka, India. It is also known as "''The flower pot of India''". Idukki (ഇടുക്കി; ) is one of the 14 districts in the Indian state of Kerala in the southwest of the country. Gokulan is an Indian actor who appears in Malayalam films. He made his acting debut through the 2013 Malayalam movie Punyalan Agarbattis by doing the character of Jimbroottan, which became popular.
