Abul Hasem Mondal
Abul Hashem Mondal is an Indian lawyer and politician belonging to the All India Trinamool Congress. He was the inaugural MLA of Memari Assembly constituency in the West Bengal Legislative Assembly. Early life and family Mondal was born in a Bengali family of Muslim Mondals in Kantipur, Bardhaman district, Bengal Presidency. He is the son of Abul Kasem Mondal. Mondal is the possessor of Bachelor of Laws, Master of Laws and Doctorate of Philosophy degrees. West Bengal Legislative Assembly
The West Bengal Legislative Assembly (ISO 15919, ISO: ''Paścimabaṅga Vidhānasabhā'') is the unicameral legislature of the Indian state of West Bengal, located in eastern India. It consists of 294 members directly elected from single-seat constituencies through the first-past-the-post voting, FPTP voting system. The Assembly meets at Vidhan Sabha Bhavan in Kolkata, the capital of the state. The presiding officer of the Assembly is the Speaker of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly, Speaker, currently Biman Banerjee.
