Abu Dujana (Lashkar-e-Taiba)
Abu Dujana (died 1 August 2017) was an Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind militant, former Lashkar-e-Taiba commander and Pakistani national who was killed in a joint anti-militant operation in Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir. Dujana was Lashkar-e-Taiba's chief commander for the Kashmir Valley. He was listed among the most-wanted in Jammu and Kashmir for several attacks on security forces. He was an A+++ category militant and carried a reward of on his head. Dujana was the mastermind behind several attacks in the south Kashmir, including one on a CRPF convoy at Pampore and another at the Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India in the Sempora area in 2016. Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind
Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind ( ur, ) is an Al-Qaeda-affiliated Islamist militant, militant group active in Kashmir. The group's stated objective is to impose Sharia law in Jammu and Kashmir (union territory), Jammu and Kashmir and jihad against India. Background Zakir Rashid Bhat was an Islamist Kashmiri militant popularly known as Zakir Musa. He was a former field operational commander of Hizbul Mujahideen, Hizbul Mujahedeen. In May 2017, Musa criticized the Hurriyat leaders for calling the Kashmir conflict a political objective rather than a religious one to establish Islamic rule. Pampore
Pampore (), known as Pampar () or Panpar () in Kashmiri, is a historical town situated on the eastern side of the Jhelum River on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway in the Pulwama district of the Indian union territory of Jammu and Kashmir. It was known as Padmanpur in antiquity. It is famous worldwide for its saffron and known as the Saffron town of Kashmir. Pampore is one of the few places in the world where saffron, the world's most expensive spice, grows. The area is about from Srinagar city centre Lal Chowk. Areas of Pampore typically have -''bal'' as a suffix, such as the localities of Namlabal, Kadlabal, Drangbal, Frestabal, and Letrabal. The English word ''militant'' is both an adjective and a noun, and it is generally used to mean vigorously active, combative and/or aggressive, especially in support of a cause, as in "militant reformers". It comes from the 15th century Latin "''warrior''" meaning "to serve as a soldier". The related modern concept of the militia as a defensive organization against invaders grew out of the Anglo-Saxon fyrd.
