Abinash Bohara
Abinash Bohara (born 30 July 1997) is a Nepalese cricketer. He is a right-handed batsman who bowls right arm medium fast. Early life and career Bohara was born in Salyan. As a child, he always wanted to join the army. However, after failing to succeed in the Army trials, he commenced his cricket journey representing the Nepalgunj hen region no. 5U19 cricket team. He scalped seven wickets (three against Baitadi and four against Birgunj) in two matches for Nepalgunj in the 2014 National U19 Cricket Tournament and that, he believes, gave him more confidence in choosing cricket as a career option. International career After good performances in the domestic leagues, he was named in Nepal's Twenty20 International (T20I) squad for their series against the United Arab Emirates in January 2019. Salyan District, Nepal
Salyan District ( ne, सल्यान जिल्ला), a part of Karnali Province, is one of the seventy-seven districts of Nepal. Salyan covers an area of with a population of 213,500 in 2001 and 241,716 in 2011. The district's administrative center is named Salyan or ''Salyan Khalanga'', today it is part of Shaarada Municipality. Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) is the official Sport governing body, governing body of cricket in Nepal national cricket team, Nepal. It was suspended from 2016 to 13 October 2019 due to governmental interference. The International Cricket Council, ICC welcomed the elections of the board held in September 2019 and formally reinstated the board on a conditional basis on 14 October. Its headquarters is in Kathmandu, Nepal. Cricket Association of Nepal is Nepal's representative at the International Cricket Council (ICC) and remains an associate member, having been a member since 1988 AD (2045 BS). The Oman national cricket team is the team that represents the country of Oman and is governed by the Oman Cricket Board, which became an Affiliate Member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) in 2000, and gained Associate status in 2014. 2020 Nepal Tri-Nation Series
The 2020 Nepal Tri-Nation Series was the fifth round of the 2019–2023 ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 cricket tournament and took place in Nepal in February 2020. It was a tri-nation series between Nepal, Oman and the United States cricket teams, with the matches played as One Day International (ODI) fixtures. The ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 formed part of the qualification pathway to the 2023 Cricket World Cup. The matches were the first ODIs to be played in Nepal. A One Day International (ODI) is a form of limited overs cricket, played between two teams with international status, in which each team faces a fixed number of overs, currently 50, with the game lasting up to 9 hours. The Cricket World Cup, generally held every four years, is played in this format. One Day International matches are also called Limited Overs Internationals (LOI), although this generic term may also refer to Twenty20 International matches.
