Abigail Borah
Abigail Borah is an American environmental activist who interrupted Todd Stern at the 2011 United Nations Climate Change Conference and who co-founded ''Race to Replace Vermont Yankee''. Early life and education Borah grew up near Princeton, New Jersey, Princeton and attended Stuart Country Day School, Stuart Country Day School of the Sacred Heart. Borah studied at Middlebury College, where she majored in Conservation Biology. While studying, she joined SustainUS, which sent her to the 2010 United Nations Climate Change Conference in Cancún, Cancun (also known as COP-16). Todd Stern
Todd D. Stern (born May 4, 1951) is an American lawyer and diplomat. He served as the United States Special Envoy for Climate Change and was the United States' chief negotiator at the 2015 Paris Climate Agreement. Education Stern graduated from Dartmouth College in 1973, and earned a J.D. at Harvard Law School. Career Stern served as the United States Special Envoy for Climate Change, leading talks at the United Nations climate change conferences and smaller sessions, appointed by U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on January 26, 2009. He was the United States' chief negotiator at the 2015 Paris Climate Agreement. Emily Cunningham is an American user experience designer and environmentalist. She is known for co-founding Amazon Employees For Climate Justice and for being illegally terminated by her former employer, Amazon. Early life and education Cunningham was born in Tucson, Arizona and grew up in various cities around Arizona between Tucson, Phoenix, and Globe. She moved to Seattle, Washington in 1998. Julia Lorraine Hill (born February 18, 1974), best known as Julia Butterfly Hill, is an American environmental activist and tax redirection advocate. She lived in a -tall, approximately 1,000-year-old Sequoia sempervirens, California redwood tree for 738 days between December 10, 1997, and December 18, 1999. Hill lived in a tent near the top of a tree, affectionately known as Luna (tree), Luna, to prevent Pacific Lumber Company loggers from cutting it down.
