Abha Singh
Abha Singh is an Indian activist and advocate currently practicing in the High Court of Judicature at Bombay. Her activism has focused on women's rights, gender equality, and justice. She runs an NGO by the name Rann-Samar that provides free legal assistance to women and slum dwellers who claim to have been unfairly persecuted by local authorities and builders for land that is rightfully theirs. Education Singh attended Loreto Convent, Lucknow and graduated from Isabella Thoburn College, Lucknow. She completed an M.Phil on Child Rights from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi and her LL.B. from Mumbai University. The ''All India Bakchod Knockout'', a.k.a. ''AIB Knockout'' was a celebrity roast adaptation created by Mumbai based creative agency All India Bakchod (AIB). It was performed and filmed in December, 2014, and was uploaded on their YouTube channel on January 28, 2015. It was recorded at the NSCI Dome in Worli. It was hosted by Karan Johar, Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor were roasted. The show was subsequently removed from their channel on February 3, 2015. AIB removed the show because it attracted widespread public backlash from religious groups, Bollywood actors, and certain right-wing political activists. All India Bakchod (abbreviated as AIB) was a Mumbai-based comedy company which created the eponymous podcast, YouTube channel and production company. The name is a parody of All India Radio. It began in 2012 as a humour/pop-culture podcast co-started by comedians Tanmay Bhat and Gursimran Khamba. Their friends and contemporary comedians, Rohan Joshi and Ashish Shakya were frequent guests and the four co-founded the YouTube channel in 2013 and began making sketches. They subsequently formed a digital agency and produced sketches, live comedy and TV shows. In October 2018, the company halted operation and fired its entire staff, after Bhat and Khamba were implicated in two separate sexual harassment allegations.
