Abdullah Bin Abdul Rahman
Abdullah bin Abdul Rahman Al Saud ( ''ʿAbd Allāh bin ʿAbd ar Raḥman Āl Suʿūd''; 1893 – 4 December 1976) was a Saudi Arabian statesman, soldier, and royal counsellor. He was a prominent advisor and member of the inner council of his elder half-brother, King Abdulaziz. After Abdulaziz died in 1953, Prince Abdullah continued to be involved in state affairs during the reigns of his nephews Saud, Faisal, and Khalid. He died in 1976. Early life Abdullah bin Abdul Rahman was born in 1893. He was the seventh son of Abdul Rahman bin Faisal, Emir of Nejd, and one of the grandsons of Emir Faisal bin Turki. The House of Saud ( ) is the ruling royal family of Saudi Arabia. The Ikhwān (, ), commonly known as Ikhwān man Aṭāʿa Allah (, 'Brethren of those who obey God'), was a Wahhabism, Wahhabi religious militia made up of traditionally nomadic tribesmen which formed a significant military force of the ruler Ibn Saud and played an important role during the unification of Saudi Arabia whereby establishing him as ruler of most of the Arabian Peninsula in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Ikhwan first appeared around 1902. They were the product of clergy who aimed to break up the Bedouin tribes and settle them around the wells and oases of the sedentary Arabs, Arabian populations, mainly those of the Najd, on the grounds that nomadic life was incompatible with the strict conformity of their interpretation of Islam. Turki bin Abdulaziz Al Saud (, ''Turkī aṯ ṯānī bin ʿAbdulʿazīz ʿĀl Suʿūd'') (1934–11 November 2016) was a Saudi Arabian politician and businessman. A member of the House of Saud, he was the full brother of King Fahd and King Salman. Early life and education Prince Turki was born in 1934.
