Abdulazeez Ibrahim
Abdulazeez Abubakar Ibrahim (27 November 1957 – 5 October 2021) was elected senator for the Taraba Central constituency of Taraba State, Nigeria at the start of the Nigerian Fourth Republic, running on the People's Democratic Party (PDP) platform. He took office on 29 May 1999. He was reelected in April 2003. Background Ibrahim was born in 1957. He obtained degrees in Engineering and Business Administration from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. Dahiru Bako Gassol
Dahiru Bako Gassol (born 4 May 1954) was elected Senator for the Taraba Central Senatorial District of Taraba State, Nigeria, taking office on 29 May 2007. He is a member of the People's Democratic Party (Nigeria), People's Democratic Party (PDP). Gassol obtained a post graduate diploma in management. He was appointed a Director, Primary Healthcare of the Bali, Nigeria, Bali Local Government in Taraba State. He was elected to the House of Representatives in 1999, and reelected in 2007. After taking his seat in the Senate, he was appointed to committees on Water Resources, Senate Services, Culture & Tourism and Capital Markets. Danbaba Danfulani Suntai (30 June 1961 – 28 June 2017) was a Nigerian pharmacist and politician who served as the governor of Taraba State from 2007 to 2015. He was involved in a self piloted aircrash on 25 October 2012, which left him incapacitated for the remainder of his term. Background Danbaba Danfulani Suntai was born on 30 June 1961 at Suntai Town in Bali Local Government Area of Taraba State. All Nigeria People's Party
The All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP) was a political party in Nigeria. The ANPP was a household party in the extreme north of Nigeria, primarily due to its mass appeal among more religious voters. It was the strongest opposition party, controlling seven of the nation's thirty-six states at one point. The party's biggest achievement in the 2003 election was its gubernatorial victory in Kano State where it defeated the ruling People's Democratic Party (PDP) to take control of one of the country's most populous states. Fabian Ngozichukwu Chinedum Osuji (20 January 1942 – 28 February 2024) was a Nigerian politician who was the Federal Minister of Education in Nigeria from July 2003 until March 2005. Academic career Osuji attended Holy Ghost College, Owerri, Government College Umuahia, the University of Nigeria in Nsukka, and the University of Ibadan. He undertook his post-doctoral research at Imperial College London.
