Abdul Bangalzai
Abdul Wahid Bangalzai (born 4 March 2003) is a Pakistani cricketer. Early career Bangalzai was born in Quetta into a poor family, his father being a truck worker who had to borrow money to buy his first white playing kit, Bangulzai often going to bed without having dinner, but due to the PCB’s ''Pathways Programme'', providing financial help as well educational scholarship and elite coaching, Bangulzai could continue his professional cricket career at Under-19 level. In December 2019, due to his performances, he was eventually named in Pakistan's squad for the 2020 Under-19 Cricket World Cup. Domestic career In October 2020, Bangalzai made his Twenty20 debut for Balochistan in the 2020–21 National T20 Cup. In January 2021, he was named in Balochistan's squad for the 2020–21 Pakistan Cup. Quetta
Quetta (; ur, ; ; ps, کوټه) is the tenth most populous city in Pakistan with a population of over 1.1 million. It is situated in south-west of the country close to the International border with Afghanistan. It is the capital of the province of Balochistan where it is the largest city. Quetta is at an average elevation of above sea level, making it Pakistan's only high-altitude major city. The city is known as the ''"Fruit Garden of Pakistan"'' due to the numerous fruit orchards in and around it, and the large variety of fruits and dried fruit products produced there. 2021–22 Quaid-e-Azam Trophy
The 2021–22 Quaid-e-Azam Trophy was a first-class domestic cricket competition that took place in Pakistan from 20 October to 29 December 2021. In September 2021, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirmed the fixtures for the tournament, with the full schedule being announced the following month. Central Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were the defending champions, after the final of the previous tournament finished in a tie. All of the matches played in the first three rounds of the tournament finished as draws. On 7 November 2021, the PCB announced that fourth round match between Central Punjab and Sindh would be played with the pink ball, along with the final of the tournament. Balochistan ( ; bal, بلۏچستان; also romanised as Baluchistan and Baluchestan) is a historical region in Western and South Asia, located in the Iranian plateau's far southeast and bordering the Indian Plate and the Arabian Sea coastline. Brahui People
The Brahui ( brh, ), Brahvi or Brohi, are an ethnic group of pastoralists principally found in Balochistan, Pakistan. A minority speaks the Brahui language, which belongs to the Dravidian language family, while the rest speaks Balochi and tend to identify as Baloch. The Brahuis are almost entirely Sunni Muslims. Etymology The origin of the word "Brahui" is not certain. According to Elfenbein, it is most likely of non-Brahui origin and probably derives from Saraiki ''brāhō'', itself a borrowing into Saraiki of the name of the prophet ''Ibrāhīm''. Sindh Cricket Team
Sindh cricket team is a domestic cricket team in Pakistan representing Sindh province. It competes in domestic first-class, List A and T20 cricket competitions, namely the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy, Pakistan Cup and National T20 Cup. The team is operated by the Sindh Cricket Association. History Before 2019 Sindh played its first first-class game in December 1932, when they drew with Ceylon at the Gymkhana ground in Karachi. The 2021–22 Pakistan Cup was a List A cricket competition that took place in Pakistan in March and April 2022. In February 2022, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirmed the fixtures for the tournament. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were the defending champions. Following the conclusion of the group stage, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Sindh and Central Punjab all finished in the top four places to advance to the semi-finals of the tournament. In the first semi-final match, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa beat Central Punjab by six wickets to progress to the final.
