Urmia
Urmia or Orumiyeh ( fa, ارومیه, Variously transliterated as ''Oroumieh'', ''Oroumiyeh'', ''Orūmīyeh'' and ''Urūmiyeh''.) is the largest city in West Azerbaijan Province of Iran and the capital of Urmia County. It is situated at an altitude of above sea level, and is located along the Shahar River on the Urmia Plain. Iran Men's National Volleyball Team
The Iran Men's National Volleyball Team is the official national men's volleyball team of Iran. It is governed by the Islamic Republic of Iran Volleyball Federation (I.R.I.V.F.) and takes part in international volleyball competitions. As of 11 September 2022, Team Melli is considered as the second team in Asia, as it ranks 10th in the FIVB World Rankings. The national team won the Asian Volleyball Championship four times: in 2011 Tehran, 2013 Dubai, 2019 Tehran and 2021 Chiba & Funabashi In its first appearance in the competition since joining the 2013 World League, Iran has been a dominant force in Group 1 of the competition, posing a challenge to any opponent. The Asian Boys' U18 Volleyball Championship, formerly known as the Asian Boys' U19 Volleyball Championship, is an international volleyball competition in Asia and Oceania contested by the under 19 men's national teams of the members of Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC), the sport's continent governing body. Tournaments have been awarded every two years since 1997. The top four teams qualified for the FIVB Volleyball Boys' U19 World Championship. The current champion is Japan, which won its third title at the 2022 tournament. The 13 Asian Championship tournaments have been won by five different national teams. Men's Junior Volleyball World Championship
The FIVB Volleyball Men's U21 World Championship, called the FIVB Volleyball Men's Junior World Championship between 2007 and 2011, is the world championship of volleyball for male players under the age of 21 organized by ''Fédération Internationale de Volleyball'' ( FIVB). The first edition was staged in 1977 in Brazil and tournaments have been played every four years for the first three editions and every two years since then. The most recent tournament was hosted by Bahrain in the city of Manama and won by Iran. Russia is the most successful nation in the tournament's history, with six titles and three runners-up. 2014 FIVB Volleyball World League
The 2014 FIVB Volleyball World League was the 25th edition of the annual men's international volleyball tournament, played by 28 countries from 23 May to 20 July 2014. The Group 1 Final Round was held in Florence, Italy. Qualification *No qualification tournament. *All teams of the 2013 edition directly qualified. *10 teams were invited by the FIVB. Format *It will be the first time the World League will feature 28 teams, having had 18 teams in 2013 and 16 teams from 2001–03 and 2006–12.
