Abdelhamid Bouchnak
Abdelhamid Bouchnak (born 1984), is a Tunisian filmmaker. He is best known as the director of Tunisian horror film ''Dachra''. Personal life He was born in 1984 in Tunis, Tunisia. His father Lotfi Bouchnak is a popular Tunisian singer renowned Oud player. Abdelhamid studied at the Higher School of Science and Technology of Design in Tunis (ESAC) in Gammarth. Then he attended to the University of Montreal and graduated with a degree in film studies. Career After graduation, he became a director within the company Shkoon Production. However, initially he worked as a cinematographer in the web series ''Ta7ana'', and the television series ''Hedhoukom''. He also involved in short films as the cinematographer in ''Alliance'' in 2011 and then ''Le Bonbon'' in 2016. After few years, he directed the historical docufiction, ''Jadis Kerkouane''. Lotfi Bouchnak ( aeb, لطفي بوشناق, Bosnian: Lutfi Bošnjak) (born January 18, 1954) is a Tunisian singer, oud player, composer and public figure. He is considered one of the best tenors in the Middle East, North Africa, and the Arab world and has been dubbed as Tunisia's "Pavarotti". He also played in Tunisian TV series and movies including Maktoub, La boîte magique, Halou u mer and El paraíso ya no es lo que era. Biography Bouchnak was born in Tunis, Tunisia to a family of Bosniak origin. At a young age, he began re-performing the songs of Oum Kalthoum and other masters of Egyptian music. Gammarth
__NOTOC__ Gammarth ( aeb, ڨمرت ) is a town on the Mediterranean Sea in the Tunis Governorate of Tunisia, located some 15 to 20 kilometres north of Tunis, adjacent to La Marsa. It is an upmarket seaside resort, known for its expensive hotels and shops. Gammarth began as a small fishing village but following independence from France it blossomed into a resort from the 1950s.
