AbbottVision is a British independent television production company, established in 2008 by the writer, creator and producer Paul Abbott. Recent productions include three series of No Offence for Channel 4, the BBC One drama series Exile starring John Simm and Jim Broadbent; and Hit & Miss, Sky Atlantic’s first UK drama commission starring Chloë Sevigny, broadcast in May 2012. AbbottVision has offices in Manchester and London and an ongoing first-look distribution deal with FremantleMedia Enterprises. Hit & Miss
''Hit & Miss'' is a British television series, created by Paul Abbott, broadcast on Sky Atlantic. It stars Chloë Sevigny as a transgender contract killer who discovers she has a child with her former lover. She struggles between caring for her newfound family and maintaining her job as an assassin. The show was conceived by Abbott as a combination of two ideas for separate TV series. All six episodes were scripted by Sean Conway. The series is Sky Atlantic's first original drama commission. It premiered on 22 May 2012, in the United Kingdom. No Offence
''No Offence'' is a British television police procedural drama on Channel 4, created by Paul Abbott. It follows a team of detectives from Friday Street police station, a division of the Manchester Metropolitan Police (a fictional version of the Greater Manchester Police). The series stars Joanna Scanlan as the protagonist, Detective Inspector Viv Deering. The first series focuses on the team's investigation into the serial murders of young girls with Down syndrome. It was renewed for two further runs. The second series of seven episodes began broadcasting on 4 January 2017, and follows the investigation into Manchester crime boss Nora Attah ( Rakie Ayola). James Broadbent (born 24 May 1949) is an English actor.
