Aathmakatha
''Aathmakatha'' (''English: Autobiography'') is a Malayalam film written and directed by debutant Premlal starring Sreenivasan, Shafna, Sharbani Mukherjee and Jagathy Sreekumar. Athmakadha finds its niche in a classic genre of mainstream Malayalam films that include the works of directors like Bharathan and Padmarajan. Sreenivasan plays a blind man named Kochubaby while Sharbani Mukherjee plays Mary, his wife. The film talks about the positivism in life of the visually impaired Kochubaby. The film was selected for various international film festivals and was screened at the IFFI, Goa in the Indian Panorama section. Premlal received many awards for 'Athmakadha' including a special jury award at the Kerala State Film Awards for direction and Ramu Kariat award. Sreenivasan won the Asianet Film Award Honour Special Jury Award. Alphons Joseph
Alphons Joseph is a music director and playback singer in the Malayalam film industry who got a break as a film music composer after composing for the film ''Vellithira''. Alphons is also noted for singing the famous song " Aaromale" from the film ''Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa'', which was composed by A. R. Rahman. Personal life and early career Alphons was born in Kaachery near Nadathara, Thrissur, Kerala, India to a musically affluent Christian family. Sreenivasan (born 6 April 1956) is an Indian actor, screenwriter, director, dubbing artist and producer who predominantly works in Malayalam cinema. Sreenivasan has starred in over 225 films. Babu Namboothiri (born 12 August 1947) is a retired Chemistry Professor and Head Of Department of Deva Mata College Kuravilangad and an Indian film and TV actor who has starred in more than 100 Malayalam films and various serials. Karthik (born 7 November 1980) is an Indian playback singer and composer. Karthik started his professional singing career as a backing vocalist and has since been working as a playback singer. He has sung more than 8000 songs in 15 Indian languages including Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Odia, Bengali, Marathi and Hindi.
