Aastiparulu
''Aastiparulu'' () is a 1966 Indian Telugu-language drama film, produced by V. B. Rajendra Prasad and directed by V. Madhusudhana Rao. It stars Akkineni Nageswara Rao and Jayalalithaa, with music composed by K. V. Mahadevan. The film was remade in Tamil as '' En Thambi'' and in Hindi as '' Bhai Ho To Aisa''. The storyline was also an inspiration for the 2008 Telugu film ''King'' (2008). Plot Zamindar Janardhan Rao holds high esteem in society. He lives with his wife, Kaasulamma, two sons, Krishna (from his first wife) and Bhaskar/Bachi, and an infant daughter, Ammulu. Bhai Ho To Aisa
''Bhai Ho To Aisa'' () is a 1972 Indian Hindi-language action film, produced by A.K. Nadiadwala under the A.K. Movies Pvt Ltd banner and directed by Manmohan Desai. It stars Jeetendra, Hema Malini, Shatrughan Sinha and music composed by Sonik-Omi. The film is a remake of 1966 Telugu film ''Aastiparulu'' which was also remade earlier in Tamil in 1968 as '' En Thambi''. Plot Thakur is a rich and wealthy man. Jaggayya
Kongara Jaggayya (31 December 1926 – 5 March 2004) was an Indian actor, littérateur, journalist, lyricist, dubbing artist and politician known for his works predominantly in Telugu cinema and Telugu theatre. He was known as ''Kanchu Kantam Jaggayya'' (Telugu language, Telugu) for his booming voice. In a film career spanning forty years as a matinee idol, he starred in eighty films, as a lead actor, and lead antagonist in a variety of genres. In 1967, he was elected as a member of the fourth Lok Sabha, from the constituency of Ongole, becoming the first Indian film actor to be elected as a member of the Parliament of India, Parliament. Suryakantham (28 October 1924 – 18 December 1994) was an Indian actress in Telugu cinema. She was popular for her portrayal of cruel and cunning women with a comedic touch. Early life Suryakantham was born and brought up in a Telugu family residing at Venkata Krishnaraya Puram near Kakinada of East Godavari district in Andhra Pradesh. She was the 14th child to her parents, ten of whose children had died. She learnt dance and singing at the age of six. She married Peddibhotla Chalapati Rao, a High Court Judge, in 1950. Dasari Girija (3 March 1938 – 5 September 1995) was an Indian actress who has worked in Telugu films. She was active in the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s in comic roles. She appeared in many films with Relangi, the two of them becoming a famous comedic duo. Film career She was born on 3 March 1938 in Kankipadu, Andhra Pradesh. Relangi Venkata Ramayya ( 13 August 1910 – 27 November 1975), known mononymously by his surname as Relangi, was an Indian actor, comedian, and producer known for his works predominantly in Telugu cinema. He was honoured with the Padma Shri for his contribution to Indian cinema in 1970. Relangi is particularly known for his comic expressions, and dialogues during the 1950s and 1960s. ''Soggade Chinni Nayana'' () is a 2016 Indian Telugu-language supernatural drama film directed by Kalyan Krishna Kurasala and written by Satyanand and Ram Mohan P. In addition to producing the film under his Annapurna Studios banner, Nagarjuna played dual roles, starring alongside Ramya Krishna and Lavanya Tripathi. Gummadi Venkateswara Rao (born 9 July 1926 – 26 January 2010), known mononymously by his surname Gummadi, was an Indian actor and producer, who worked predominantly in Telugu cinema. Known as one of the finest supporting/character actors in Telugu cinema, Gummadi acted in around five hundred feature films. He received critical recognition for his work in '' Thodu Dongalu'' (1954) and '' Mahamantri Timmarusu'' (1962), for which he received the erstwhile Rashtrapati Award.
