Norwegian Surname
Heritable family names were generally adopted rather late within Scandinavia. Nobility were the first to take names that would be passed on from one generation to the next. Later, clergy, artisans and merchants in cities took heritable names. Family names (surnames) were still used together with ''primary patronyms'' (father's name plus an affix denoting relationship), which were used by all social classes. This meant that most families until modern times did not have surnames. Scandinavian patronyms were generally derived from the father's given name with the addition of a suffix meaning 'son' or 'daughter' or by occupation like Møller - ( Miller ) naming tradition remained commonly used throughout the Scandinavian countries during the time of surname formation. Aase Hansen (actress)
Aase Hansen (January 13, 1935 – February 25, 1993) was a Danish actress. She was born in Vigerslev in Søndersø. Hansen studied with Paula Illemann Feder and at the school of the Odense Teater from 1953 to 1956. In 1955, she played the role of Minna in the play ''Frisøndag''. She performed in various plays at the Andelsteatret (1957–58), the Aalborg Teater (1958-62), the and the (from 1968). Hansen went on to appear in seven films. Aase Texmon Rygh
Aase Texmon Rygh, (April 13, 1925 – May 21, 2019) was a Norwegian sculptor working in the modernist style. Early life and education Aase Texmon Rygh was born in Troms County, Norway. She studied at the Norwegian National Academy of Craft and Art Industry from 1944 until 1946. Two years later, she studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, under Einar Utzon-Frank, for one year. In 1950, she visited Paris, where she visited the Louvre. The visit would be pivotal in shaping her career as a professional artist. Career Texmon Rygh primarily exhibited in Norway, with a retrospective exhibition at the Henie-Onstad Art Centre in 1992. Aase Olesen
Aase Olesen (; 24 September 1934 – 1 February 2013) was a Danish politician for the Danish Social Liberal Party and teacher. She worked as a teacher at Hørsholm Municipal School before joining the Danish Social Liberal Party in 1967. Olesen was elected to the Folketing from October 1974 to December 1990 and was appointed Minister of Social Affairs in the government of Poul Schlüter between June 1988 and December 1990. She was chair of a social committee established by Schlüter in 1991 and whose recommendations were implemented into Danish social policy law in 1993. Aase Nordmo Løvberg (10 June 192325 January 2013) was a Norwegian opera singer. ''Dagbladet'' called her "one of Norway's greatest opera singers." For many years she sang with Jussi Björling, and she also sang under renowned conductors such as Herbert von Karajan. Life Løvberg was born in Målselv Municipality, Troms, in 1923.
