Aanum Pennum
''Aanum Pennum'' () is a 2021 Indian Malayalam cinema, Malayalam-language anthology film featuring three segments directed by Venu (cinematographer), Venu, Aashiq Abu and Jay K. The film explores the stories of man-woman relationships in the backdrop of three different timelines with each segment telling a story on romance, betrayal and lust. The anthology features an ensemble cast of Samyuktha Menon, Parvathy Thiruvothu, Asif Ali (actor), Asif Ali, Roshan Mathew, Darshana Rajendran, Joju George, Indrajith Sukumaran, Nedumudi Venu, Kaviyoor Ponnamma and Basil Joseph. Bijibal and Dawn Vincent composes the original songs and film score, background score. The film is presented by Rajeev Ravi and produced by C. K. Padma Kumar and M. Venu (cinematographer)
Venugopal Pillai (born 26 January 1957), popularly known as Venu, is an Indian cinematographer and film director who works mainly in Malayalam cinema. An alumnus of the Film and Television Institute of India, Pune and CMS College Kottayam, CMS college Kottayam. He has been the recipient of four National Film Awards, including three for National Film Award for Best Cinematography, Best Cinematography and one Indira Gandhi Award for Best Debut Film of a Director, and four Kerala State Film Awards. He is a founding member of the Indian Society of Cinematographers (ISC). Personal life Venu is the grandson of Malayalam author, Karur Neelakanta Pillai. Rajeev Ravi is an Indian cinematographer, director, and producer from Kochi, Kerala. He's best known for his work in Hindi and Malayalam films. After graduating from Film and Television Institute of India, Pune in 1997, he started his career by assisting in the Malayalam film, '' Pranayavarnangal'' (1998) shot by Santosh Thundiyil.
