Aangan Mein Deewar
''Aangan Mein Deewar'' is a Pakistani television series directed by Shahid Aziz, which was first aired on PTV Home from 10 October 2015 to 25 July 2016. Set in Lahore, the series stars Arjumand Rahim as a young widow who enters politics, inheriting her late husband's political legacy. Plot After the death of her husband Chaudhry Noor Alam who was the well-known name of Lahore's politics, Mashal inherits his political legacy. She takes the management of his haveli under her control and tries to compete in elections. Meanwhile, Chaudhry's first wife with her elder sister and daughter returns from abroad. She tries to grab the property by claiming her daughter as the sole heir of Chaudhry. She also starts scheming to evict Mashal from the inheritance who in return competes her legally. Mashal gets the help of her lawyer Imran in this scenario but things get complicated for her when the lawyer is committed by Sara, the daughter of Chaudhry's political rival. Cast * Arjumand ... Shahid Aziz
Shahid Aziz () is a Pakistani military author and a public official who served as the Chairman of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) from 2004 to 2007, and university administrator of the Federal Urdu University in 2014–16. Aziz, a soldier who was trained in the United States in infantry tactics, saw military actions in war theater with India in 1999 through 2001. After retiring from the military, Aziz was the chairman of the National Accountability Bureau but was forced to resign amid controversy. PTV Home HD is a Pakistani free-to-air television channel owned by the Pakistan Television Corporation. It also broadcast as a Terrestrial television. History PTV Home started broadcasting on 26 November 1964 in West Pakistan and on 25 December 1964 in East Pakistan (the current Bangladesh).
