''Dhayam'' () is a 2017 Indian Tamil-language mystery thriller film written and directed by Kannan Rangaswamy and produced by A. R. S. Sunder. Entirely shot inside a single room, the film stars Santhosh Prathap, Jayakumar, Aanchal Singh, Samaira Sandhu and Iraa Agarwal among others in leading roles. Featuring music composed by Sathish Selvam, cinematography by A. Packiaraj and editing by R. Sudharsan, the film had a theatrical release on 24 March 2017. Plot Eight people enter a room in a company for an interview for the post of CEO. The room has no windows, the walls are white, and there is a clock attached to one side. Santhosh Prathap
Santhosh Prathap is an Indian actor working in the Tamil film industry. His feature film debut was in the lead role ''Kathai Thiraikathai Vasanam Iyakkam'' (2014). In 2022, he participated in the popular cooking show ''Cooku with Comali season 3, Cooku with Comali (season 3)'' as a contestant in Vijay Television, Vijay television. Career Santhosh made his acting debut with ''Kathai Thiraikathai Vasanam Iyakkam'' (2014) directed by R. Parthiban. Portraying a struggling director who wants to make a mark in cinema, the film released to positive reviews. After a brief sabbatical, he made his comeback with ''Dhayam'' (2017), a thriller which was set completely in a single room. He was first seen in a negative role in ''Mr. Chandramouli''.
