Aamir Saleem ( Punjabi, ur, , born 20 February 1958 in Multan, Pakistan) is a Pakistani singer, composer, songwriter, host and music video director who had several hits in the early 1990s, including "Woh Taron Bhari", "C.B. Chali Ana", and "Ajnabi". He has worked as a director for music videos and road shows with anchor Ali Salman on MTV Pakistan, under the name of Bad Company. He hosted live shows on FM 107, FM 100 (Karachi). He also hosted a live show on PTV National for more than 8 years. He was the singer of the first title song for Geo TV program Hum Sub Umeed Se Hain. Multan
Multan (; ) is a city in Punjab, Pakistan, on the bank of the Chenab River. ''Hum Sub Umeed Se Hain'' ( ur, , lit=We Are All Hopeful) is a political satire show, which features funny segments on Pakistani political issues. Hosted by Saba Qamar, Fiza Ali and Mehwish Hayat, the show was divided into 3 versions. The first one is 'Midweek Version' Hosted by Mehwish Hayat, the second is 'Extra Version' Hosted By Fiza Ali and the third is 'Weekend Version' hosted by notable Pakistani actress Saba Qamar. Geo Television Network is a television channel based in Pakistan. It was established in May 2002 and is owned by the Jang Media Group. The channel began its test transmission on 14 August 2002, with regular transmission beginning on 1 October 2002. History Geo Network was founded in May 2002 by Mir Shakil-ur-Rahman. It started out with the launch of its flagship channel Geo News in October 2002. Hamid Mir joined the channel and became one of the first journalists to join Geo News.
