Aamar Boss
''Aamar Boss'' () is a 2025 Indian Bengali-language corporate drama film written, produced and directed by Nandita Roy and Shiboprosad Mukherjee under the banner of Windows Production. The film stars Rakhee Gulzar, marking her comeback in Bengali cinema after twenty two years, Shiboprosad Mukherjee and Srabanti Chatterjee in lead roles, with Sauraseni Maitra, Aishwarya Sen, Shruti Das and Gourab Chatterjee in supporting roles. Inspired by real-life corporate day-care initiatives, the story explores themes of inclusive workplaces, intergenerational care, and transformative leadership. The film was announced in December 2023. Principal photography commenced in January 2024 and wrapped by February 2024. Music of the film is composed by Anupam Roy. Nandita Roy (born April 3, 1955) is an Indian filmmaker, Editor and Screenwriter. She made her directorial debut with the film '' Icche'' (2011) along with her co-director Shiboprosad Mukherjee. The two have also directed ''Accident'', '' Muktodhara'', '' Alik Sukh'', '' Ramdhanu'', '' Bela Seshe'', '' Haami'', '' Praktan'' , '' Posto (film), Konntho, Gotro''. She has been a part of several projects and has worked with many renowned directors. Early life Nandita Roy was born on April 3, 1955, in Mumbai. She attended high school at St. Joseph's Convent High School in the suburb of Vile Parle, and is an economics graduate of Parle College. She began work as a primary schoolteacher in St. Joseph's Convent. She later studied for her postgrad in economics from University of Mumbai, Kalina. She married Nitish Roy in 1977. 55th International Film Festival Of India
The 55th International Film Festival of India took place from 20 to 28 November 2024 at Panaji, Goa. The theme of this year's festival is 'Young Filmmakers – The Future is Now', so this year a new section and award category 'Best Debut Director of Indian Feature Film' has been introduced in the festival to encourage young blood. The award is a certificate and cash prize of lakh in recognition of young directorial talent from India. The festival screened over 180 international films from 81 countries, including 15 world premieres.
