''Aakhree Raasta'' () is a 1986 Indian Hindi-language crime drama film written and directed by K. Bhagyaraj, presented by T. Rama Rao and produced by A. Purnachandra Rao both under banner Lakshmi Productions (Madras) (P).LTD. The film stars Amitabh Bachchan in a dual role, Jaya Prada, Sridevi and Anupam Kher. It was directed by the Tamil actor and director K. Bhagyaraj. Rekha dubbed Sridevi's voice for her in this movie. The film was a remake of the Tamil film '' Oru Kaidhiyin Diary'' which was also scripted by Bhagyaraj, but directed by Bharathiraja. Rahi Masoom Raza (1 September 1927 – 15 March 1992) was an Indian Urdu and Hindi poet and writer and a Bollywood lyricist. Anand Bakshi (21 July 1930 – 30 March 2002) was an Indian poet and lyricist. He won Filmfare Award for Best Lyricist 4 times during his career. He wrote over 6000 film songs in more than 300 films. Early life Anand Bakshi (Bakshi Anand Prakash Vaid) was born in Rawalpindi in the Punjab Province of British India (now in Punjab, Pakistan), on 21 July 1930 into a Mohyal Brahmin family of the Vaid clan. The family arrived in Delhi, after the Partition of India and then migrated to Pune, then to Meerut and settled finally in Delhi. Bakshi was fond of writing poetry since his youth, but he did this mostly as a private hobby.
