Aage Schavland (1806-1876)
Aage Schavland (6 November 1806 – 20 March 1876) was a Norwegian priest and Member of Parliament. Aage Schavland was born in Strand in Rogaland. He took his entrance examination in 1826 and was granted his Theology degree in 1829. In 1834, became vicar of the parish of Stranda in Møre og Romsdal. From 1840 he was dean of the northern area of Sunnmøre. From 1844 to 1861, he was vicar at Herøy, Møre og Romsdal. From 1861 he was assistant pastor at Nidaros Cathedral in Trondheim. Schavland was mayor of Herøy in Møre og Romsdal from 1846 to 1849 and again from 1854 to 1857. He was also mayor of Trondheim in 1865 and deputy mayor from 1867 to 1868. He was elected to the Storting for several periods. From 1848 to 1850, from 1851 to 1853, and from 1857 to 1858 he represented Romsdals Amt. Sigvald Skavlan
Sigvald Skavlan (27 December 18394 November 1912) was a Norwegian priest, psalmist and educator. He was born at the vicarage in Stranda in Møre og Romsdal. He was the son of Aage Schavland (1806–1876) and Gerhardine Pauline Bergh (1817–1884). His father was a parish priest and later member of the Storting. After 1844, the family moved to Herøy. He was a brother of Olaf Skavlan, Aage Skavlan and Harald Skavlan, and uncle of Einar Skavlan. Skavlan studied theology in Christiania (now Oslo) until 1864. He was one of the first three priests in Antwerp after the Norwegian Seaman's Mission was founded in 1865. He later lectured at , a school for the deaf in Trondheim, until he was appointed vicar in Askøy. Fritz Lorck
Frederik Christian "Fritz" Lorck (2 July 1815 – 9 May 1901) was a Norwegian merchant and politician. He was born in Trondhjem a son of wholesaler Lorentz Lorck and Nicoline Kathrine Fernandine, née Frølich. He finished his secondary education in Frederikshald in 1834. He married Elisabeth Sofie Wiel, a member of the timber merchant family Wiel from Frederikshald. Their son Karl Fredrik Sophus Lorck became a member of Parliament, as did Fritz' father-in-law Mads Truelsen Wiel and brother-in-law Andreas Melchior Glückstad Wiel. After working for ''Barloch & Wahl'' in Hamburg, Lorck moved back to Trondhjem where he was a merchant. He also became consul for Belgium, was the managing director of a savings bank and sat on the supervisory council and board of the Bank of Norway in Trondhjem from 1854 to 1884. Einar Kielland Skavlan (30 July 1882 – 16 August 1954) was a Norwegian journalist, newspaper editor, theatre critic and theatre director. Biography Skavlan was born in Frogn.
