Aadil Bedi
Aadil Bedi (born 17 February 2001) is an Indian professional golfer who plays on the Asian Tour and the Professional Golf Tour of India. He won the Bengal Open in 2020. Background Bedi was born in Amritsar, in the state of Punjab. His father Harinder Pal Singh Bedi and mother Hargunjit Kaur are both officers with the Government of Punjab. Harinder is an avid golfer, and from the age of four, Aadil used to accompany him to play at Chandigarh Golf Club. Bedi finished his schooling in Chandigarh at Vivek High School. He is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in kinesiology from Chaffey College in California. Amateur career Bedi finished at the top of the Junior Order of Merit standings in the 7–10 age group (2011), and the 11–13 age group (2013). Golf at the 2018 Asian Games was held at Pondok Indah Golf Course, Jakarta, Indonesia, from 23 to 26 August 2018 and featured four events: the men's individual and team events and women's individual and team events. The event was open to amateur players only. Several national golf associations complained to the Court of Arbitration for Sport that Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Macau and Uzbekistan had possibly entered professional golfers, but the CAS ruled that none of the players were professional. Eisenhower Trophy
The Eisenhower Trophy (World Men's Amateur Team Championships) is the biennial World Amateur Team Championship for men organized by the International Golf Federation. Since the tournament was first played in 1958 Eisenhower Trophy, 1958, it is named after Dwight D. Eisenhower, the President of the United States at the time, who was a keen amateur golfer. The equivalent competition for women is the Espirito Santo Trophy. Results The 1958 championship resulted in a tie. There was an 18-hole playoff which Australia won with a score of 222 to the United States 224. From 1958 to 2000 the teams had four players with the best three scores counting for each round. Udayan Mane (born 24 February 1991) is an Indian professional golfer. He currently plays on the Asian Tour and the Professional Golf Tour of India. He has won 11 times on the Professional Golf Tour of India. Amateur career Mane was the leading amateur in India in 2014. He represented India in both the 2014 Asian Games and the 2014 Eisenhower Trophy. Professional career Mane turned professional in early 2015 and had a successful first season, winning twice on the Professional Golf Tour of India. He had three more wins in 2017 and has a total of 11 wins on the tour. He has also played a number of events on the Asian Tour. The Tollygunge Club ( Bengali: টালিগঞ্জ ক্লাব), popularly called Tolly Club, is a country club in India, located in Tollygunge in south Kolkata. Sir William Cruikshank established the club as an equestrian sports facility in 1895 to "promote all manner of sports". It is spread over , with a clubhouse that is over 200 years old.
