Aab-e-Gum Railway Station
Aab-e-Gum railway station ( ur, , bal, آب گم ریلوے اسٹیشن, also spelled Ab-i-Gum) is located in the town of Aab-e-gum, Kachhi District of Balochistan province, Pakistan. It is located southeast of Quetta near Chilton mountain on the Rohri-Chaman Railway Line. Aab-e-gum ( ur, ) is a Persian word meaning 'vanished water', a name given to a nearby underground spring. Kachhi District
Kachhi District or Kacchi ( bal, کچی, Sindhi: ڪڇي, ur, ), known until 2008 as Bolan District ( bal, ),( Sindhi: بولاڻ), is a district in central Balochistan, Pakistan. The Bolan area remained under one district Kacchi until 31 December 1991. The Deputy Commissioner's office started functioning on 17 May 1992, and Bolan became one of the four districts of Naseerabad Division, until the abolition of Divisions in 2000. Quetta
Quetta (; ur, ; ; ps, کوټه) is the tenth most populous city in Pakistan with a population of over 1.1 million. It is situated in south-west of the country close to the International border with Afghanistan. It is the capital of the province of Balochistan where it is the largest city. Quetta is at an average elevation of above sea level, making it Pakistan's only high-altitude major city. A spring is a point of exit at which groundwater from an aquifer flows out on top of Earth's crust (pedosphere) and becomes surface water. It is a component of the hydrosphere. Aab-e-Gum Derailment
The Aab-e-Gum derailment occurred on 17 November 2015 at , Balochistan, Pakistan when the ''Jaffar Express'' passenger train derailed. Twenty people were killed and 96 were injured. Accident The ''Jaffar Express'', travelling from to , derailed at . Four carriages were derailed.
