Flex (singer)
Félix Danilo Gómez Bosquez (born August 29, 1980), known by his stage names Flex and Nigga, is a Panamanian reggaeton singer and songwriter. He adopted the name '' Nigga'' after being told by another Panamanian artist that he "sings like a black guy from Jamaica." Before releasing an album in the United States in 2008, Flex removed references to his nickname in songs, and his CD packages were reprinted with the name "Flex." Musical career Early years He began his musical career in 1997 with a song entitled "Como puedo cantar" in a duet with Toby King, which belonged to Pucho Bustamente's Da Crew album. Capitol Latin (formerly EMI Latin) is a brand of Universal Music Latin Entertainment, a division of Universal Music Group. Previously, it was a subsidiary of EMI. History In 1989, José Behar, the former head of CBS Discos, signed Selena to EMI Latin, because he thought he had discovered the next Gloria Estéfan. In 1990, EMI Latin acquired San Antonio, TX-based Cara Records in order to capitalize on the popularity of Tejano. Artists under the Cara label included Mazz, David Lee Garza, and La Mafia. Popular EMI Latin performers linked to the EMI Televisa Music and Televisa networks included Thalía, Pedro Fernández, RBD, María Daniela y su Sonido Lasser, and Kudai. "Besos de Amor" (English: "Kisses of Love") is the lead single from Flex's third studio album '' Romantic Style Parte 3: Desde La Esencia''. It features the Kumbia All Starz's member Ricky Rick. It was written by Reynold Martínez Esparza, Ricardo Ruiz Pérez and himself and produced by Predikador. The single was released on January 19, 2010, in Mexico and on January 26, 2010, in the United States through EMI. Music video The music video was filmed on January 27, 2010, directed by Eduardo Duque and Andre Barren. The music video has the participation of the Mexican presenter, comedian Omar Chaparro and the Brazilian actress Ana Ángela. The video depicts a man dreaming awake throughout the plot to kiss his beloved, but everything goes wrong and it is not until the end that he can fulfill his dream.
