''A Musical Massacre'' is the third studio album by American hip hop duo The Beatnuts. It was released in August 1999 via Loud Records. Recording sessions took place at Chung King Studios, Soho Music Studios and Planet Sound Studios in New York City, New York. Produced entirely by the Beatnuts, it features guest appearances from E-Swinga, Nogoodus, Biz Markie, Carl Thomas (singer), Carl Thomas, Cheryl Pepsii Riley, Common (rapper), Common, Cuban Link, dead prez, Greg Nice, Magic Juan (reggaeton musician), Magic Juan, Marlon Manson, Patrick Blazy, Tony Touch, Triple Seis, Tyler Fernandez and Willie Stubz. The album peaked at number 35 on the Billboard 200, ''Billboard'' 200 and number 10 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums in the United States. The Beatnuts
The Beatnuts is an American hip hop group and production duo from New York City. Its current members are JuJu and Psycho Les. JuJu (born Jerry Tineo on December 14, 1968) is a Dominican American from Corona and Psycho Les (born Lester Fernandez on April 10, 1970) is a Colombian American from Jackson Heights, Queens. Although only peripheral members, they are routinely acknowledged by Q-Tip as being members of Native Tongues. The Beatnuts were originally a trio before Fashion (born Berntony Smalls on January 13, 1970), now known as Al' Tariq, left the group to start a solo career. V.I.C. Carlton Neron Thomas (born June 15, 1972) is an American R&B singer from Aurora, Illinois. He was discovered by American rapper Puff Daddy, who signed Thomas to the former's Bad Boy Records, a then-imprint of Arista Records in 1997. He became best known for his 2000 single " I Wish", which peaked at number 20 on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 and preceded his debut studio album, ''Emotional'' (2000). Terror Squad was an American hip hop collective that was first established in 1998. Based in the Bronx in New York City, the members of Terror Squad collectively debuted on a song in member Fat Joe's albums ''Jealous One's Envy'' and '' Don Cartagena''. Terror Squad released its debut album, '' Terror Squad: The Album'', in 1999, with its first major hit "Whatcha Gon' Do", credited mostly to Big Pun, who died of a heart attack in 2000.
