Michele Massimo Tarantini
Michele Massimo Tarantini (born 7 August 1942) is an Italian film director. Life and career Born in Corato, Bari, at young age Tarantini was assumed by the production company Dania Cinematografica, for which he held various positions including secretary of production, set designer, film editor and assistant director for Sergio Martino, Giuliano Carnimeo, Nando Cicero and Mariano Laurenti. Tarantini made his directorial debut in 1973 with a giallo-crime film, '' Seven Hours of Violence'', but his first commercial success was the 1975 sexy comedy '' La liceale'', which launched the career of Gloria Guida. Since then, Tarantini became one of the prominent and most successful directors in the commedia sexy all'italiana film genre. In 1983 Tarantini moved to Brazil, where he kept directing low-budget genre films, often under the stage name Michael E. Lemick. His last film is the 2001 comedy ''Se lo fai sono guai''. ''Poliziotteschi'' (; : ''poliziottesco'') constitute a subgenre of crime film, crime and action films that emerged in Italy in the late 1960s and reached the height of their popularity in the 1970s. NoShame
NoShame, or NoShame Films, was an Italian-American company specializing in releasing authoritative editions of cult Italian movies on DVD. History NoShame Films started its office in Italy and opened an office in Los Angeles, California the following year. Its specialty was remastering and releasing cult Italian films on DVD from such subgenres as giallo and poliziotteschi. The company was praised by DVD collectors for the amount of effort that went into its releases, which included thick booklets and plenty of special features. In 2006 the company quietly went out of business, amid rumors of content/privacy lawsuits initiated by a former Mayfair Model, with its website going offline and all future releases being canceled. Its previously released DVDs also started to go out of print. A new DVD company, MYA Communications, releases many films along the same lines as NoShame and has even slowly started to re-issue some of NoShame's out-of-print films. Giovanni "Nello" Pazzafini (15 May 1933 – 9 January 1996) was an Italian actor who appeared in a very large number of Peplum film genre, Peplum movies, Spaghetti Westerns and Poliziotteschi. Initially an often uncredited stunt performer in peplum films, starting from mid-1960s he gradually got bigger roles, specializing in villain characters.
