Tokyo Police Club
Tokyo Police Club was an indie rock band from Newmarket, Ontario, Canada. Founded in 2005, it consisted of vocalist and bassist Dave Monks, keyboardist Graham Wright, guitarist Josh Hook, and drummer Greg Alsop. The band found early success with their 2006 debut EP '' A Lesson in Crime,'' which they followed with several popular releases including the albums ''Elephant Shell'' and '' Champ'' in 2008 and 2010, respectively. During the 2010s, they released three other studio albums. Among other nominations, the band had been twice nominated for the Juno Award for Alternative Album of the Year, in 2011 for ''Champ'' and in 2019 for '' TPC''. Indie rock is a Music subgenre, subgenre of rock music that originated in the United Kingdom, United States and New Zealand in the early to mid-1980s. Jon Drew is a Canadian record producer and recording engineer based in Toronto, Ontario. He has produced the albums of Polaris Music Prize winning band Fucked Up and Juno Award nominated Tokyo Police Club. Smith EP is a four-track EP that was released by Canadian indie group Tokyo Police Club on October 23, 2007 in Canada and November 6, 2007 in the US. A download version of the Smith EP was originally available in the Spring of 2007 with only the first three songs and a different cover. Reviews Reviews of the EP were positive but disappointed by the release of an even shorter EP than A Lesson in Crime instead of a full-length LP album. ''Nick Swardson's Pretend Time'' is a sketch comedy television show created by and starring actor and comedian Nick Swardson. The show premiered on Tuesday, October 12, 2010, at 10 p.m. EST on Comedy Central and ran for two seasons, with the final first-run episode airing November 16, 2011. André Allen Anjos, better known by his stage name RAC, is an American musician and record producer based in Oregon.
