The eighth season of '' CSI: Crime Scene Investigation'' premiered on CBS on September 27, 2007, and ended May 15, 2008. The season stars William Petersen and Marg Helgenberger. William Petersen
William Louis Petersen (born February 21, 1953) is an American actor. He is best known for his role as Gil Grissom in the CBS drama thriller series ''CSI: Crime Scene Investigation'' (2000–2015), for which he won a Screen Actors Guild Award and was nominated for a Golden Globe Awards, Golden Globe Award; he was further nominated for three Primetime Emmy Awards as a producer of the show. Nick Stokes
Nicholas "Nick" Stokes is a fictional character from the CBS crime drama '' CSI: Crime Scene Investigation'', portrayed by George Eads. Jon Wellner
Jon Wellner (born July 11, 1975) is an American actor, best known for his role as toxicologist Henry Andrews on '' CSI: Crime Scene Investigation''. He has portrayed Andrews from 2004 through to the 2015 season, his 11th with the show. He began his affiliation with the show in season 4 as a researcher, verifying that the information on the show was accurate. He had a role as a zookeeper in season 5, then took on the role of Andrews. He continues to serve as a researcher for the show.
