''A Flair for the Dramatic'' is the debut studio album by American rock band Pierce the Veil, released in 2007 by Equal Vision Records. Background and recording In December 2006, Before Today changed their name to Pierce the Veil, and that they had posted a few songs on their Myspace account. It was produced by Casey Bates, along with Vic Fuentes, and was recorded with only the Fuentes brothers taking up all instrument duties. Release On May 3, 2007, it was announced that the band had signed to Equal Vision. A week later, the album's artwork and track listing was revealed. In early May, the band toured with Poison the Well, before touring with Portugal. The Man in mid May. Throughout the rest of May, and running into early June, the band toured with Alesana. Don Clark (musician)
Don Clark (born May 30, 1975) is an American musician. He was the rhythm guitarist and bassist for the Christian metal band, Demon Hunter, which he co-founded with his brother, vocalist Ryan Clark. Before Demon Hunter, Clark was a former guitarist and co-founder of Training for Utopia with Rob Dennler. He appears on Zao's ''The Lesser Lights of Heaven'' DVD. History Before forming TFU and Demon Hunter, Clark was in a local band called Offset. Offset never recorded anything and was short lived. Clark then started Training for Utopia with Rob Dennler. Michael Christopher "Mike" Fuentes (born December 14, 1984) is a former American musician. He is best known as the former drummer for the post-hardcore band Pierce the Veil alongside his older brother Vic Fuentes. Fuentes was the percussionist for the supergroup Isles & Glaciers. He had more recently began a hip hop solo project under the stage name MikeyWhiskeyHands in which he raps on instrumentals produced by Pierce the Veil's bassist Jaime Preciado. Fuentes signed to Velocity Records in March 2012. Both brothers attended Mission Bay Senior High School. Mike graduated with the Class of 2003, where he was also voted "Most Likely To Be Famous" in the yearbook that year. The Heatseekers charts are "Breaking and Entering" music charts issued weekly by ''Billboard'' magazine. Taste Of Chaos
Taste of Chaos (or "TOC") was a live music tour that was started in the winter of 2005 by Kevin Lyman, the creator of the successful Warped Tour along with his friend and business partner, John Reese. The Taste Of Chaos tour catered to fans of the post-hardcore, emo, pop punk and metalcore genres, while offering the same low ticket price and festival-style format as the Warped Tour. In 2007, each of the seven bands playing the entire tour was a Warped Tour veteran: five had played the 2006 Warped Tour and two ( The Used and Saosin) had played TOC previously. Taste of Chaos has been called the "Winter Warped Tour" since dates run from October (internationally) through April (in North America) of the next year. Emarosa
Emarosa ( ) is an American rock band formed in Lexington, Kentucky, in 2006. The band currently consists of lead guitarist and founding member ER White and lead vocalist Bradley Walden, who joined the band in 2013. The group has undergone several line-up changes throughout its career, with lead guitarist ER White being the sole remaining founding member. Originally oriented towards post-hardcore and alternative rock, Emarosa has gravitated towards a more pop rock sound in recent years.
