AUR Alliance
The AUR Alliance () is a Right-wing politics, right-wing to Far-right politics, far-right political alliance in Romania, consisting of the Alliance for the Union of Romanians (AUR) and other smaller parties. The alliance was founded in January 2023, and aims to participate in the 2024 Romanian elections and 2025 Romanian presidential elections. History The AUR Alliance was officially founded on 24 January 2023, the Day of the Unification of the Romanian Principalities. Initially, the alliance consisted of the Alliance for the Union of Romanians (AUR) led by George Simion, the Republican Party of Romania (PRR) led by Marian Cucșa, and the National Peasant Alliance (ANȚ) led by Radu Ghidău. Party leaders said their common goal was to "return Romania to where it deserves to be" and win the 2024 elections. George Simion
George Nicolae Simion (; born 21 September 1986) is a Romanian politician and civic activist. He is the founder and chairman of the Alliance for the Union of Romanians (AUR), the second largest party in both houses of parliament since 2024 Romanian parliamentary election, 2024. He was a candidate in the 2025 Romanian presidential election. Simion completed his high school studies at the Gheorghe Lazăr National College, Bucharest, Gheorghe Lazăr National College, before studying business administration at the University of Bucharest and then graduating from Alexandru Ioan Cuza University with a master's degree in history. Following his studies, he began campaigning for the unification of Moldova and Romania, and has since set up notable associations and events for this purpose, such as Action 2012, the Alliance for the Centenary and the Centenary March. The Romanian Village Party (, RoSAT) is a Christian-democratic and Agrarianism, agrarian list of political parties in Romania, political party in Romania, founded and headed by Marian Vișu-Iliescu. Ovidiu Iosif Florean
Ovidiu (, historical name: ''Canara'', ) is a town situated a few kilometres north of Constanța in Constanța County, Northern Dobruja, Romania. Ovidiu is quite small, with a population of 13,968 as of 2021, and many wealthy inhabitants of Constanța retire there. It officially became a town in 1989, as a result of the Romanian rural systematization program. In 1930, the town was renamed ''Ovidiu'' after the Roman poet Ovid (). He was supposedly buried on a nearby small island (also called ''Ovidiu'') in the Siutghiol Lake. Administration The town of Ovidiu administers the villages of Poiana (historical names: ''Cocoșul'' - until 1964, - until 1926) and Culmea. The latter was established in 2011 by legally separating from Ovidiu two territorially distinct communities, Social Group Culmea and Social Group Nazarcea. Muhammad (8 June 632 CE) was an Arab religious and political leader and the founder of Islam. According to Islam, he was a prophet who was divinely inspired to preach and confirm the monotheistic teachings of Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and other prophets.
