ATX Open
The ATX Open is a professional women's tennis event held in Austin, Texas. The first edition took place from 27 February to 5 March 2023. The ATX Open is part of the WTA Tour and is listed as a WTA 250 tournament. The tournament was awarded to Austin in March 2022. The tournament is held at the Westwood Country Club on eleven outdoor hardcourts. The tournament's host sponsors are Formentera Partners and Helmerich & Payne. The DropShot Tournament Series, founded by Bryan Sheffield, is the tournament's organizer and promoter. The Texas Tennis Open was a professional tennis tournament for women. After some contradictory statements, the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) made it a late addition to the 2011 WTA Tour. It was played at the Hilton Lakes Tennis & Sports Club in Grapevine (near Dallas), Texas in the United States. It was an International level event in August during the same week (the week before the US Open) as the New Haven Open at Yale The Connecticut Open was a professional tennis tournament played on outdoor hard courts. Bibiane Schoofs
Bibiane Schoofs (born 13 May 1988), previously known as Bibiane Weijers, is a Dutch professional tennis player. On 11 June 2012, she reached her career-high WTA singles ranking of 142, whilst her best doubles ranking was world No. 83 on 2 April 2018. Erin Hope Routliffe (born April 11, 1995) is a New Zealand professional tennis player who previously represented Canada.
