ATP Challenger Tour
The ATP Challenger Tour, known until the end of 2008 as the ATP Challenger Series, is a series of international men's professional tennis tournaments. The Challenger Tour events are the second-highest tier of tennis competition, behind the ATP Tour. The ITF World Tennis Tour tournaments are on the entry-level of international professional tennis competition. The ATP Challenger Tour is administered by the Association of Tennis Professionals. Players who succeed on the ATP Challenger Tour earn sufficient ranking points to become eligible for main draw or qualifying draw entry at ATP Tour tournaments. ATP Challenger Tour Finals
The ATP Challenger Tour Finals was a tennis tournament played between 2011 and 2015 at the end of season, involving the top seven players in that year's ATP Challenger Tour, plus an invited player from the tournament's host country. Like the ATP Finals, the ATP Challenger Tour Finals was not a straightforward knockout tournament. Eight players were divided into two groups of four, and played three round-robin matches each against the other three players in their group. The ATP Challenger 125 tournaments are the second highest tier of annual men's tennis tournaments on the ATP Challenger Tour, with 125 ranking points awarded to each singles champion. They were previously the highest tier of Challenger tournaments before the introduction of ATP Challenger Tour 175 tournaments in 2023. As of the last full season in 2019 ATP Challenger Tour, 2019, the series included 20 tournaments, however more have since been added as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Dominik Koepfer (born 29 April 1994) is a German professional tennis player.
