Asociația Sportivă Paroșeni Vulcan, better known as Minerul Paroșeni, was a Romanian football (soccer), football football team, club based in Vulcan, Hunedoara, Vulcan, Hunedoara County, founded in 1970 and dissolved in 1997. History After three years of construction and exploration, the Paroșeni Coal Mine, Paroșeni Mine began coal production on October 1966. By 1970, it was producing significant amounts of coal. During this period, the miners from Jiu-Paroșeni, a locality within Vulcan, Hunedoara, Vulcan Municipality, passionate about sports, sought to establish their own sports identity, similar to other mining communities in the Jiu Valley. At the time, two teams from Vulcan were active in county football: Minerul Vulcan and Energia Paroșeni, both associated with the Vulcan Coal Mine, Vulcan Mine and Paroșeni Power Station, Paroșeni Thermal Power Plant. Penalty Shoot-out (association Football)
In association football, a penalty shoot-out (previously known as kicks from the penalty mark) is a tie-breaking method to determine which team is awarded victory in a match that cannot end in a tie (draw), draw, when the score is tied after the normal time as well as Overtime (sports)#Association football, extra time (if used) has expired. For example, in a FIFA World Cup, penalties are used in elimination matches; the round of 32, the round of 16, the quarter-finals, the semi-finals, and the final (competition), final. U Craiova 1948 Club Sportiv, commonly known as Universitatea Craiova (), CS U Craiova, or simply U Craiova, is a Romanian professional football club based in Craiova, Dolj County. It competes in the Liga I, the top tier of the Romanian league system. 1986–87 Cupa României
The 1986–87 Cupa României was the 49th edition of Romania's most prestigious football cup competition. The title was won by Steaua București against Dinamo București. Format The competition is an annual knockout tournament. First round proper matches are played on the ground of the lowest ranked team, then from the second round proper the matches are played on a neutral location. If a match is drawn after 90 minutes, the game goes in extra time, if the scored is still tight after 120 minutes, then the winner will be established at penalty kicks. The 1986–87 Divizia B was the 47th season of the second tier of the Romanian football league system. The format has been maintained to three series, each of them having 18 teams. Clubul Sportiv Municipal Mihai Viteazu Vulcan, commonly known as CSM Vulcan, or unofficially as ''Minerul Vulcan'', is a Romanian football club based in Vulcan, Hunedoara County. Founded in 1921 as CS Vulcan and re-founded in 2016 as CSM Mihai Viteazu Vulcan, the club currently playing in the Liga IV – Hunedoara County. History The club was established in 1921 and played for the first time in the 1922–23 season of the Arad Regional Championship, where it managed to occupied the 5th place. Rapid Arad
Vagonul Arad was a football club based in Arad, Romania. It was founded in 1911 and it soon became one of the best teams from Arad. It was affiliated to Astra Arad rail equipment manufacturing company. It was dissolved in 2006. Club Sportiv Municipal Lugoj, commonly known as CSM Lugoj, or simply as Lugoj, is a Romanian football club from Lugoj, Timiș County, Romania. Divizia B
The Liga 2, most commonly spelled as Liga II, is the second level of the Romanian football league system. The league changed its name from Divizia B just before the start of the 2006–07 football season. It is currently sponsored by Casa Pariurilor, a betting company under the official name Liga 2 Casa Pariurilor. Format Since its inception in 1934, Liga II has had between 2 and 9 parallel divisions, with clubs divided based on geographic regions. But since the 2016-17 Liga II, it changed to one group of 20 teams. Currently, the top six teams goes in the promotion play-off, in which the top 2 teams get promoted and the next 2 play a promotion play-off against teams from Liga I.
