AM Ghazanfar
Allah Mohammad Ghazanfar (, born 20 March 2006) is an Afghan cricketer, who has represented the national side. He has played for Mis Ainak Knights in the Afghan Shpageeza Cricket League, and Rawalpindi Raiders in the Pakistan Junior League. He was selected for Colombo Strikers for the 2024 Lanka Premier League and the Mumbai Indians for the 2025 Indian Premier League. Personal life Ghazanfar is from Paktia Province, Afghanistan. He has five older brothers, and as of 2022, he lived in Kabul. Domestic and franchise career Ghazanfar started playing cricket in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. He began as a fast bowler, and is now an off-spinner. He bowls finger spin, due to him receiving teachings on spin bowling by former Afghanistan captain Dawlat Ahmadzai. Paktia (Pashto – ''Paktyā'') is one of the 34 provinces of Afghanistan, located in the east of the country. Rangpur Riders (), is a professional franchise cricket team based in Rangpur. The Riders compete in Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), the premier cricket league in Bangladesh. This team took part in 2024 Global Super League and became the champion gaining their maiden title. Although the ownership of the team changed multiple times, the team structure has stayed at its original form since the foundation of the team. Afghanistan National Under-19 Cricket Team
The Afghanistan national under-19 cricket team (Pashto: د افغانستان ۱۹ کلنو لوبډله) represents the country of Afghanistan in under-19 international cricket. Afghanistan has qualified for the Under-19 Cricket World Cup on seven occasions. The team's first tournament was the 2010 World Cup in New Zealand, which they reached by finishing runner-up to Ireland in the 2009 World Cup Qualifier. Mujeeb Ur Rahman Zadran (; born 28 March 2001) is an Afghan cricketer, who plays for the Afghanistan national cricket team. Two months after his international debut, at the age of 16 years and 325 days, he became the youngest player to take a five-wicket haul in a One Day International. He was one of the eleven cricketers to play in Afghanistan's first Test match, against India, in June 2018. Afghanistan lost the one-sided Test within two days. Off-spinner
Off spin is a type of spin bowling in cricket. A bowler who uses this technique is called an off spinner. Off spinners bowl with their right-arm and a finger spin action. Their normal delivery is called an off break, which spins from left to right (from the bowler's perspective) when the ball bounces on the pitch. For a right-handed batsman, the ball breaks towards them from the off side, hence the name 'off break'.
