AJR (band)
is an American pop band founded by brothers Met (), collectively a trio of vocalists, , and songwriters. The brothers grew up in New York City, primarily focused on busking, singing covers and street tap dancing until shifting to songwriting and touring. At their home studio, they have recorded more than 100 songs and have released five studio albums on various record labels along with their indie label. AJR wrote " I'm Ready" and promoted the song on Twitter in 2012, which led to Australian singer and songwriter Sia sharing her talent management network with the trio prior to the release. After the song became their breakout single on radio, AJR formed their own label AJR Productions and released three EPs—'' 6foot1'' (2013), ''Infinity'' (2014), and ''What Everyone's Thinking'' (2016). Indie Label
An independent record label (or indie label) is a record label that operates without the funding or distribution of major record labels; they are a type of small- to medium-sized enterprise, or SME. The labels and artists are often represented by trade associations in their country or region, which in turn are represented by the international trade body, the Worldwide Independent Network (WIN). Many of the labels started as producers and distributors of specific genres of music, such as jazz music, or represent something new and non-mainstream, such as Elvis Presley in the early days. ''Living Room'' is the debut studio album by American pop band AJR. It was released through the band's label AJR Productions and Warner Music Group on March 3, 2015.
