AIJAC
The Australia/Israel & Jewish Affairs Council (AIJAC, ) is an Australian advocacy group. It describes itself as "the premier public affairs organisation for the Australian Jewish community." The organisation is directed by Colin Rubenstein, who was previously a political science lecturer at Monash University. AIJAC has office locations in Melbourne and Sydney. AIJAC is formally associated with the American Jewish Committee. Mark Leibler is an Australian lawyer and political activist. Leibler is the sole senior partner of Arnold Bloch Leibler, an Australian law firm founded by Arnold Bloch in 1953, where he became a partner in 1969. Leibler is a political activist, especially on the issues of indigenous rights and support of Israel. He is a member of Australia's prominent Leibler family, the younger brother of Isi Leibler and son of Abraham Leibler. Jeremy Jones (activist)
Jeremy Jones (1958–2023) was a prominent Australian Jewish leader, interfaith activist, and director of the Australia/Israel & Jewish Affairs Council (AIJAC). He also served as president of the Executive Council of Australian Jewry (ECAJ). Overview Jones was born in Melbourne, Australia. He studied history and government at the University of Sydney. After graduating, Jones worked as a researcher for the NSW Jewish Board of Deputies. In the 1980s, he joined the Executive Council of Australian Jewry (ECAJ) as a member of the staff. At the ECAJ, Jones held a number of senior positions, including executive director from 1994 to 2006. During his time at the ECAJ, Jones played a leading role in promoting Jewish communal life and advocating for the interests of the Australian Jewish community. William Korey
William Korey (16 June 1922 – 26 August 2009) was an American lobbyist on international issues for B’nai B’rith. He was also a director of the Anti-Defamation League. David John Cawdell Irving (born 24 March 1938) is an English author and Holocaust denier who has written on the military and political history of World War II, especially Nazi Germany. John Howard
John Winston Howard (born 26 July 1939) is an Australian former politician who served as the 25th prime minister of Australia from 1996 to 2007.
