AHM Mustafa Kamal
Abu Hena Mohammad Mustafa Kamal (Bengali: আবু হেনা মুহাম্মদ মুস্তফা কামাল; born 15 June 1947) much commonly known as Lotus Kamal is a Bangladeshi politician and businessman. He is a member of the Jatiya Sangsad representing the Comilla-10 constituency and is a former Minister for Planning and current Minister of Finance. He is the owner of Lotus Kamal Group, which is a well-known Bengali textile industry. Kamal was awarded the Finance Minister of the Year 2020 by the Banker. Early life Kamal was born on 15 June 1947 in Laksham, Cumilla, East Bengal, British India. The Bengal Presidency, officially the Presidency of Fort William and later Bengal Province, was a subdivision of the British Empire in India. At the height of its territorial jurisdiction, it covered large parts of what is now South Asia and Southeast Asia. Bengal proper covered the ethno-linguistic region of Bengal (present-day Bangladesh and the Indian state of West Bengal). Nafisa Kamal (born 1989) is a Bangladeshi businesswoman and cricket franchise owner. Kamal is an avid cricket patron and is the owner of the Comilla Victorians, one of the most successful cricket teams in Bangladesh. Comilla Victoria Government College is a college in Comilla, Bangladesh. It is one of the oldest and renowned colleges in Comilla as well as in Chittagong division. The college is located beside of Ranir Dighi on 32 acres of land including its intermediate and honors section. History Fazlul Karim was the first Muslim teacher of this college in 1937. Laksam ( bn, লাকসাম) is an upazila of Comilla District in the Division of Chittagong, Bangladesh. Laksam is widely known as the birthplace of Nawab Faizunnesa Chowdhurani. The Jatiya Sangsad ( bn, জাতীয় সংসদ, lit=National Parliament, translit=Jatiyô Sôngsôd), often referred to simply as the ''Sangsad'' or JS and also known as the House of the Nation, is the supreme legislative body of Bangladesh.
