AFC Câmpulung Muscel
Asociația Fotbal Club Câmpulung Muscel 2022, also known as AFC Câmpulung Muscel, or just Câmpulung Muscel, is a Romanian professional football club based in Câmpulung, Argeș County, which competes in Liga III, the third tier of the Romanian football. Founded in 1978 as CS Rucăr, the club moved to Câmpulung in 2022 and changed its name to Muscelul Câmpulung Elite following promotion from the 2021–22 season. Subsequently renamed AFC Câmpulung Muscel, the team earned promotion to Liga II for the first time in its history at the end of the 2023–24 season. History AFC Câmpulung Muscel, originally founded in 1978 as CS Rucăr, spent most of its early years playing in the Argeș County Championships. 2020–21 Liga IV
The 2020–21 Liga IV was the 79th season of the Liga IV, the fourth tier of the Romanian football league system. The season was initially postponed due to the high costs generated by COVID-19 pandemic, but on 7 April 2021, the Romanian Football Federation approved a new protocol for the amateur leagues, with lower costs. The county associations had only a month to play a blitzkrieg season, but only 24 leagues (out of 42) had a competition and announced a champion in time, three other county associations (CălăraÈ™i, Giurgiu and Vrancea) organized a competition, but which ended after the deadline imposed by the FRF. 2019–20 Liga IV
The 2019–20 Liga IV was the 78th season of the Liga IV, the fourth tier of the Romanian football league system. The champions of each county association play against one from a neighboring county in a playoff to gain promotion. This had to be the third season when the counties were divided into 7 regions, each consisting of 6 counties and the draw was made on 15 February 2019, with 4 months before the first matches. In the spring of 2020, most of the county leagues were suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic. On 11 May 2020, the Romanian Football Federation announced that the promotion format will be changed, especially due to the fact that no team (apart from the teams that were already excluded or dissolved) relegated from Liga III. Liga V
Liga V is the fifth level of the Romanian football league system. Current format Liga V has 42 divisions. The divisions are regionalised and are organised by every county association. Each team plays in their own county. The county associations decide how many teams play in the league and how many matches each side plays.
