AEW Revolution
AEW Revolution is an annual professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by All Elite Wrestling (AEW). Established by the promotion in 2020, the event is held in late February/early March. The 2021 event was AEW's first PPV held on a Sunday. It is considered one of the "Big Four" PPVs for AEW, along with Double or Nothing, All Out, and Full Gear, the company's biggest shows produced quarterly. The first two Revolution PPVs were critically acclaimed. The 2020 event was voted as the Best Major Wrestling Show of the year for the ''Wrestling Observer Newsletter'' awards, while the 2021 event was the highest-grossing non- WWE wrestling PPV since 1999. The latter was also AEW's largest attended event during the COVID-19 pandemic up to that point. All Elite Wrestling (AEW) is an American professional wrestling promotion based in Jacksonville, Florida. It is considered the second largest wrestling promotion in the United States behind WWE. AEW is owned by Shahid Khan and his son Tony, who founded the company in 2019; in-ring performers Matt & Nick Jackson and Kenny Omega also serve as company executives. Tyson Smith (born October 16, 1983), better known by the ring name Kenny Omega, is a Canadian-born professional wrestler. Addition Financial Arena (formerly known as CFE Arena and UCF Arena) is a sports and entertainment arena located in Orlando, Florida, United States, on the main campus of the University of Central Florida. The 2022 Revolution was the third annual Revolution professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by All Elite Wrestling (AEW). It took place on March 6, 2022, at the Addition Financial Arena in Orlando, Florida. The event aired through traditional PPV providers, as well as Bleacher Report in the United States and FITE TV internationally. It was the culmination of a three-day event, which began with an episode of ''Rampage'' on March 4 and then a fan fest on March 5, both held at the same venue as Revolution.
