Air Departure Tax
Air Departure Tax (ADT) is a pending tax intended to replace the UK-wide Air Passenger Duty in Scotland. Legislation has been passed to allow the introduction of the tax and it was originally expected to come into force on 1 April 2018. However, this has been delayed. History On 20 June 2017, the ADT was passed in the Scottish Parliament and received royal assent on 25 July 2017 and was meant to be introduced on 1 April 2018. However, on 22 November 2017, the UK and Scottish Ministers agreed to delay the introduction of ADT until issues have been resolved regarding the tax exemption for flights departing airports in the Highlands and Islands of Scotland. In June 2018, the Scottish Government and UK Government agreed that it would not be possible to introduce the ADT in April 2019. Alternating Decision Tree
An alternating decision tree (ADTree) is a machine learning method for classification. It generalizes decision trees and has connections to boosting. An ADTree consists of an alternation of decision nodes, which specify a predicate condition, and prediction nodes, which contain a single number. An instance is classified by an ADTree by following all paths for which all decision nodes are true, and summing any prediction nodes that are traversed. The American Death Triangle, also known as the "American Triangle", "Triangle Anchor"The Mountaineers, 114. or simply the "Death Triangle", is a dangerous type of rock and ice climbing anchor infamous for both magnifying load forces on fixed anchors and lack of redundancy in attachment to the anchor. Adnyamathanha Language
The Adnyamathanha language (pronounced ), also known as yura ngarwala natively and Kuyani, also known as Guyani and other variants, are two closely related Australian Aboriginal languages. They are traditional languages of the Adnyamathanha of and the Kuyani peoples, of the Flinders Ranges and to the west of the Flinders respectively, in South Australia. As of the 2016 Australian census, there were around 140 speakers of Adnyamathanha, making it an endangered language; there have been no speakers of Kuyani recorded since 1975. The Azkals Development Team, commonly referred to as ADT, is a Philippine developmental football club that last competed in Philippines Football League, before officially withdrawing from the competition in May 2023. Founded in 2020, the team is under the jurisdiction of the Philippine Football Federation (PFF), while being managed similar to a professional club. The Asian Development Tour, founded in 2010, is a professional golf tour. It is the development tour for the Asian Tour. Players who fail to earn Asian Tour cards through qualifying school may play on the tour. Currently, the top ten players on the Order of Merit (money list) at the end of the year earn an Asian Tour card for the following season. Beginning in 2013, tournaments were awarded Official World Golf Ranking points, with a minimum of six points to the winner and points to the top six plus ties.
