ACC Twenty20 Cup
The ACC Twenty20 Cup was a 20-over cricket tournament organised by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC). The tournament did not include the ACC members who were full members of the International Cricket Council (ICC) during the years in which it was held (Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka), instead featuring the best associate and affiliate members. Matches at the tournament were not accorded official Twenty20 or Twenty20 International status. The inaugural ACC Twenty20 Cup in 2007 was jointly won by Afghanistan and Oman. From 2011, the tournament has been part of the qualification process for the ICC World Twenty20. The four top-ranked teams at the 2011 and 2013 tournaments qualified for the next World Twenty20 Qualifier. Asian Cricket Council
The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) is a cricket organization which was established in 1983, to promote and develop the sport of Cricket in Asia. Subordinate to the International Cricket Council, the council is the continent's regional administrative body, and currently consists of 27 member associations. Mohsin Naqvi is the current president of Asian Cricket Council. ICC World Twenty20
The ICC Men's T20 World Cup, formerly the ICC World Twenty20, is a biennial world cup for cricket in Twenty20 International (T20I) format, organised by the International Cricket Council (ICC). It was held in every odd year from 2007 to 2009, and since 2010 has been held in every even year with the exception of 2018 and 2020. In 2018, the tournament was rebranded from World Twenty20 to Men's T20 World Cup. The 2011 edition of the tournament was brought forward to 2010 to replace the ICC Champions Trophy. In May 2016, the ICC put forward the idea of having a tournament in 2018, with South Africa being the possible host, but later dropped the idea due to multiple bilateral cricket events taking place that year. 2012 ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier
The 2012 ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier was played in early 2012 as a part of the ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier series. This edition of the qualifier for the 2012 ICC World Twenty20 was an expanded version comprising ten qualifiers from regional Twenty20 tournaments, in addition to the six ODI/Twenty20 status countries. 2010 Asian Games
The 2010 Asian Games (), officially known as the XVI Asian Games () and also known as Guangzhou 2010 (), were a regional multi-sport event held from November 12 to 27, 2010 in Guangzhou, Guangdong, China (although several events commenced earlier on November 7, 2010). A bowl-out (sometimes termed a bowl-off) was used as a tiebreaker in various forms of limited overs cricket to decide a match that would otherwise end in a result (cricket)#Tie, tie. Five bowlers from each side deliver one or two balls each at an unguarded wicket (three stump (cricket)#Part of the wicket, stumps). If each team has hit the same number of wickets after the first five bowlers per side, the bowling continues and is decided by sudden death (sport), sudden death. 2015 ACC Twenty20 Cup
The 2015 ACC Twenty20 Cup was an international cricket tournament that was held between 25 and 30 January 2015 in the United Arab Emirates. Oman won the round-robin tournament and qualified for the 2015 ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier, along with Afghanistan, Hong Kong, Nepal and UAE who did not play in this tournament as their T20I status had qualified them directly to the 2015 ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier to be held in Ireland and Scotland. 2016 ICC World Twenty20
The 2016 ICC World Twenty20 was the sixth edition of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup, formerly known as the ICC World Twenty20, a Twenty20 International cricket tournament that was held in India from 8 March to 3 April 2016, and was the first edition to be hosted by India. Seven cities hosted matches in the tournament – Bangalore, Dharamshala, Kolkata, Mohali, Mumbai, Nagpur, and New Delhi.
