AB Motoracing, the trading name of ''Abraham Motor Racing s.r.o.'', was a motorcycle racing team from Czech Republic that competed in the MotoGP, Moto2, 250cc and 125cc World Championships. History The team started racing in running Aprilia motorcycles in the 125cc class with Karel Abraham and in the 250cc class with Jakub Smrž. From to , the team ran only one Aprilia with Abraham in 250cc. In , Cardion AB Motoracing competed in the new Moto2 class, using RSV and FTR chassis. Abraham took his and his team's first victory in Valencia. The team stepped up to MotoGP in , having signed a contract with Ducati, which was later extended through . In a motorsports race, the pole position is usually the best and "statistically the most advantageous" starting position on the track. The pole position is usually earned by the driver with the best qualifying times in the trials before the race, although penalties may award it to the second fastest driver, as the pole position is statistically awarded to the driver starting in first position. The Ducati Desmosedici is a Four-stroke engine, four-stroke V4 engine racing motorcycle made by Ducati for MotoGP racing. The series nomenclature is ''GP'' with the two-digit year appended, such as Desmosedici GP10 for 2010. Anthony Keith West, (born 17 July 1981 in Maryborough, Queensland), is an Australian motorcycle road racer. He most recently raced in the 2019 Brazilian Superbike Championship for the Kawasaki Racing Team. is a Japanese motorcycle road racing, road racer. He is a two-time champion in the All-Japan Superbike Championship, and has competed sporadically in the MotoGP World Championship. He is known in his native Japan as a competitor in the MFJ All Japan Road Race GP250 Championship, and most notably the All Japan Road Race Championship, All Japan Superbike championship, where he has enjoyed success with the Pops Yoshimura, Yoshimura Suzuki team riding a Suzuki GSX-R1000. Antonio Elías Justícia (born 26 March 1983) is a Spanish former professional motorcycle racer and inaugural champion of the 2010 Grand Prix motorcycle racing season, 2010 Moto2 World Championship. He is the third member of the Elías family to compete in motorcycle racing. Hiroshi Aoyama
is a Japanese retired Grand Prix motorcycle road racer, and current team principal of Honda Team Asia. Aoyama is best known for winning the 2009 250cc World Championship title. He is the older brother of former 250cc and World Superbike rider, Shuhei Aoyama. In his six seasons in the 250cc World Championship, he raced Honda and KTM machinery in an Aprilia-dominated class. He took nine victories and never finished lower than seventh overall. By winning the 2009 250cc World Championship, Aoyama become the last winner of this class before its replacement by the Moto2 class in 2010.
