''ABC World News Tonight'' (titled ''ABC World News Tonight with David Muir'' for its weeknight broadcasts since September 2014) is the flagship daily evening television news program of ABC News, the news division of the American Broadcasting Company (ABC) television network in the United States. It is currently the most watched network newscast in the United States, with an average of 2 million more than its nearest rival, ''NBC Nightly News''. Since 2014, the program's weekday broadcasts have been anchored by David Muir. As of February 6–7, 2021, Whit Johnson and Linsey Davis anchor the Saturday and Sunday editions of the newscast respectively. ''After The Deadlines'' is an American evening news program of the early 1950s. It was broadcast on the ABC network from April 1951 to October 1952. Typical of evening television news programs of the era, it lasted fifteen minutes. ''After the Deadlines'' aired at 7:00 PM, earlier than its competitors, ''Camel News Caravan'' (NBC, 7:45 PM) and '' Douglas Edwards with the News'' (CBS, 7:30 PM) in an attempt to draw news viewers from these more-established networks. ''News and Views'' was an early American evening news program. Broadcast on ABC from 1948 to 1951, it was ABC's first evening news program and one of the first such programs on any television network; Both CBS and NBC also initiated their evening news programs (respectively '' CBS Television News'' and ''Camel News Caravan'', called ''Camel Newsreel Theatre'' at first) that same year, both debuting a few months before the first broadcast of ''News and Views'' on August 11, 1948. The co-anchors (not called that, as that meaning of "anchor" was not yet extant) were H. R. Baukhage and Jim Gibbons. Baukhage was a veteran radio broadcaster whose staccato baritone and gruff and abrupt sign-on, "Baukhage talking", was familiar to radio listeners of that era. Jim Gibbons was less well known. KNOE-TV (channel 8) is a television station licensed to Monroe, Louisiana, United States, serving the Monroe, Louisiana–El Dorado, Arkansas market as an affiliate of CBS and ABC. It is owned by Gray Media alongside low-power station KCWL-LD (channel 40, also licensed to Monroe).
