ABC Funfit
''ABC Funfit'' is a series of short American television segments that were broadcast in 1985 and aired twice a day during ABC's Saturday morning cartoon programs. The segments were five minutes long and presented exercises and information to promote children's physical fitness. Olympic gold medalist Mary Lou Retton hosted the series, assisted by the "Funfit Kids" (Ericka Pazcoquin, Bradley Kane, Melissa Kern and Efrain Bracero). Mary Lou Retton
Mary Lou Retton (born January 24, 1968) is an American retired gymnast. At the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, she won a gold medal in the individual all-around competition, as well as two silver medals and two bronze medals. Her performance made her one of the most popular athletes in the United States. Her gold medal win was historic as Retton was the first American woman to win the all-around gold medal in Olympic gymnastics. Personal life Mary Lou Retton was born on January 24, 1968, in Fairmont, West Virginia. (The original family name was "Rotunda.") Her father, Ronnie, operated a coal-industry transportation equipment business. She attended Fairmont Senior High School, but did not graduate. Michael Zager
Michael Zager (born January 3, 1943) is an American record producer, composer, and arranger of original music for commercials, albums, network television, and theme music for films. He teaches music at Florida Atlantic University. Zager was a member of jazz rock band Ten Wheel Drive from 1968 to 1973. Music career Zager has produced for artists such as Whitney Houston, Cissy Houston, Peabo Bryson, Luther Vandross, Deniece Williams, Jennifer Holliday, Joe Williams, Arturo Sandoval, Herb Alpert, Olatunji, and The Spinners. Eleanor Sanger (September 15, 1929 – March 7, 1993) was a 7-time Emmy-award-winning television writer and producer, who was the first woman Network Sports Producer. Bradley Caleb Kane (born September 29, 1973) is an American actor, singer, producer and screenwriter. Career Kane began to act with a small role in the movie ''Six Weeks''. Lynne Taylor-Corbett is a choreographer, director, lyricist, and composer. She was born in Denver, Colorado. Life Lynne Taylor-Corbett grew up in the Denver, Colorado area, gaining her first exposure to dance through her mother, a pianist for ballet classes. She left Colorado for New York City at the age of 17, where she initially found work as an usher at the New York State Theater (renamed the David H.
