A98 Road (Great Britain)
The A98 road is a major coastal road of northeast Scotland passing through Moray and Aberdeenshire. The A98 is no longer a primary route, with this status being removed shortly after the A92 was renumbered A90. Route It originates in the west at Fochabers at a junction with the A96 road, A96, and proceeds northeast, passing close to Buckie, Findochty and Portknockie before passing through Cullen, Moray, Cullen and Portsoy. After a junction with the A95 road, A95 it passes through Banff, Aberdeenshire, Banff and Macduff, Aberdeenshire, Macduff. It then bears southeast and inland for some distance, passing near to the prehistoric monument of Longman Hill; thence it runs close to New Pitsligo before heading northeast to Fraserburgh where it terminates. A 98 Motorway (Germany)
is a long motorway in southern Germany, originally intended to connect Weil am Rhein with the A 8 near Irschenberg. Currently, only three relatively short unconnected sections have been constructed: *Weil am Rhein to near Eichsel, where the road diverges south to become the A 861 towards Rheinfelden (Baden) and the Swiss border; *east of Waldshut-Tiengen to north of Lauchringen; and *north of Singen to north of Überlingen.
