A525 Road
The A525 is a major route from Rhyl in Wales to Newcastle-under-Lyme in England. The route passes near Denbigh, through Ruthin, through Wrexham and near Whitchurch. The route is a dual carriageway just south of Rhyl. As of 10 March, 2010, the section between Wrexham and Whitchurch is not classified as a primary route, and the section between Burleydam, (to the East of Whitchurch where it is a " TOTSO" with the A530 to Nantwich) and Newcastle (via Audlem) is also now a non-primary A road. In total, the A525 is in length. Alpine A525
The Alpine A525 is a Formula One racing car designed and developed by the Alpine F1 Team for competition in the 2025 Formula One World Championship. It is the fifth Formula One car entered by Alpine since rebranding from Renault. The A525 is being driven by Pierre Gasly, who is on his third season with the team, and a "rotating seat" that consists of rookie driver Jack Doohan, who raced with the team from Australia to the Miami Grand Prix, and Franco Colapinto, who replaced Doohan starting from the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix for five races. Paul Aron, Ryō Hirakawa, and Kush Maini all assume reserve driver roles, with Colapinto previously holding such a role before being swapped with Doohan. The car was revealed at a bespoke event on 18 February 2025, and made its competitive debut at the 2025 Australian Grand Prix. Alpine F1 Team, currently racing as BWT Alpine F1 Team for sponsorship reasons, is the name under which the Enstone-based Formula One team has been competing since the start of the 2021 Formula One World Championship. Formerly named Renault F1 Team and owned by the French automotive company Groupe Renault as well as Renault–Nissan–Mitsubishi Alliance, the team was rebranded for 2021 to promote Renault's sports car brand, Alpine, and continues to serve as Renault's works team, a position the team will keep until Renault pulls out of Formula One (as an engine manufacturer) after 2025.
